Lithium-ion pouch cells are at the heart of modern energy storage, powering everything from smartphones to electric vehicles. The electrolyte in a Li-ion pouch cell plays a critical role in transporting lithium ions between the anode and cathode. Common lithium salts such as LiPF₆, LiFSI, and LiTFSI each offer unique advantages in terms of ionic conductivity, thermal stability, and electrochemical performance.
